Jason Cook is an author and computer network administrator.
Jason created some network maps for the Redux NetMapPak, and also came up with most of the plot-line and single player maps for the Leela Redux project.
He also created Lord Frandall's Challenge, a vicious and nearly unbeatable Marathon single player scenario.
He created and populated most of the universe for Escape Velocity: Nova, and came up with the basic universe and cultural outlines for Nova, in conjunction with Luke Smart and Dafydd Williams. He wrote the Federation, Polaris, Rebel, Vell-os and Sigma story-lines, as well as almost all the ancillary missions. His planet descriptions can be read across two thirds of Nova space.
Jason is currently a network administrator for a large multi-site installation using Cisco equipment in a multi-platform environment.
Jason lives in Hobart with his wife Angela.
