Gail Vardy owned the original ATMOS company, then named Speech Pathology Associates Pty Ltd. She gifted the company to her son, Scott Vardy, and his friends so that they could make games as a business.
She has stayed on as an advisor and mentor, and filled the treasury position for many years.
Gail is a speech pathologist, and is now semiretired. She lives in Hobart with her daughter Teela.
